Granite imports to Hungary rose 85.5% in 2018 compared to the previous year. Finland topped the list of granite importers with 127,590 kilograms. The United Kingdom, Russia, and Denmark followed with imports reaching, respectively, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place. Hungarian demand for granite has risen slightly year-on-year since 1997, with an increase of 0.8%. In 2015, exports of granite from Hungary reached 113 kilograms, up from 19 kilograms the year before.
