Nepalese granite import is set to reach 1.7 million kilograms by 2026. This year, it is estimated to reach 1.3 million kilograms – a 4.5% year-on-year growth rate. Since 2015, demand for granite from Nepal has grown by 1.4% year-on-year. In 2021, Nepal was ranked 40th in the world for granite imports. Palestine overtook Nepal, with 1.3 million kilograms imported. The United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark followed, in second, third and fourth place respectively.
