Emirati granite exports are set to shrink significantly over the next five years. According to projections, the total amount of exports is expected to fall by 22.1% on average each year, from 54,570 kilograms in 2021 to 13,980 kilograms in 2026. Since 2012, the supply of Emirati granite has decreased by 44.3% each year on average. Meanwhile, imports of granite into the UAE are predicted to grow slightly over the same period. The total amount of imports is expected to increase by 1.2% each year on average, from 2,631,100 kilograms in 2021 to 2,868,500 kilograms in 2026. Since 2012, demand for granite in the UAE has grown by 15.9% annually on average. In 2021, the UAE was the 34th largest importer of granite, while Belarus topped the list with 2,631,100 kilograms. The United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark were the second, third and fourth largest importers, respectively.
