Montenegrin demand for granite imports is expected to rise steadily over the next five years. In 2021, the country imported 867,000 kilograms of granite, ranking 44th overall. This is a 5.5% increase from 2011. Norway was the leading importer with 867,000 kilograms, followed by the United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark, with the latter two importing significantly less. By 2026, Montenegrin granite imports are forecast to reach 923,000 kilograms, a 0.8% year-on-year growth rate. This would see the country remain in 44th position in the global ranking.
