In 2021, the country ranked 35th, overtaken by Niger, which imported $75 million. The Philippines, Sri Lanka and China were the next three biggest importers. Cement exports from Malaysia are expected to fall by 2.9% year-on-year, to $71 million in 2026. This follows a 1.8% increase since 1994. In 2021, Malaysia ranked 31st, overtaken by Kazakhstan, which exported $84 million. Canada, Germany and the United Arab Emirates were the next three biggest exporters.
