Chinese demand for roofing has been steadily increasing since 1997, with a CAGR of 8.3%. In 2021, it reached 11,694,000 kilograms, putting the country in 43rd place. Lithuania was the leader, followed by the United Kingdom, Romania and Bulgaria. Chinese roofing exports are also projected to rise, reaching 224.1 million kilograms by 2026, with a CAGR of 3.9%. In 2021, Italy was the biggest supplier, at 177.8 million kilograms. France, Hungary and Spain took the next three spots.
