In 2021, Italian exports totalled 2.6 million kilograms, making it the number one exporter. The Czech Republic, Croatia, and China followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively. Namibia rose 115.6% year on year, while Luxembourg saw a 42.9% drop in exports since 2016. Meanwhile, global molding import is expected to decrease by 1.7% year on year between 2021 and 2026, reaching 13.8 million kilograms in 2026. Malaysia led the way in 2021, with 1.7 million kilograms imported. Germany, Japan, and Nigeria respectively came in second, third, and fourth.
