Global aerospace exports are projected to decline from approximately $369 billion in 2023 to around $307 billion by 2028, marking a modest average yearly decrease of 0.1%. Despite this decline, the global supply has seen a steady increase of 2.1% annually since 2019. In 2023, the United States led the aerospace export market with an impressive $144 billion. France, Germany, and Singapore followed, securing the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. Notably, Iceland experienced a remarkable surge in aerospace exports, jumping 144.8% year on year. In contrast, Latvia saw a significant decrease of 24.1% annually since 2019. On the import side, the global aerospace import market is expected to rise to about $204 billion by 2028, up from $203 billion in 2023, growing at an average annual rate of 2.6%. The demand for aerospace imports has been increasing at a rate of 5.4% per year since 2019. The United States also dominated the aerospace import sector in 2023, with imports valued at $66 billion. Singapore, Ireland, and Canada occupied the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. Luxembourg's imports surged by 22.8% year on year, whereas the Czech Republic's imports declined by 9.9% annually since 2019.
