Global yogurt production is projected to reach more than 329,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 278,000 in 2021. This growth of nearly 3% annually since 1966 is driven by increased demand from Saudi Arabia, which came in as the top producer in 2021 with 202,000 metric tons, up 15.1% year-on-year. European yogurt consumption is also on the rise, with figures expected to reach almost 13 billion kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 0.3% each year since 2016.
