In 2023, Japan led the global export market for films within the specified width range with a substantial share of 41.93%, marking a slight growth of 2.19%. Belgium followed with a 27.01% share, despite a decline of 4.59% from the previous year. China held 16.52% of the market, recording a modest increase of 2.81%. The United Kingdom and Malaysia contributed 6.36% and 3.27% respectively, with Malaysia experiencing notable growth at 9.39%. Conversely, Germany saw a significant drop, declining by 10.73% to contribute a 2.33% share.

Although smaller players like Greece and El Salvador showcased remarkable growth rates of 16.46% and 23.47%, they still represented minimal shares in the global market. In contrast, declines were particularly evident in countries like Hungary and Serbia, facing substantial reductions of 15.72% and 12.67% respectively.
