European Export of Worked Marble, Travertine, Alabaster by Country

In 2023, Italy led the European export market of worked marble, travertine, and alabaster, exporting 421.31 million kilograms, despite a year-on-year decline of 6.19%. Spain followed with 253.29 million kilograms, experiencing a 2.46% drop. Conversely, Portugal saw an impressive 17.57% growth at 233.5 million kilograms. Greece recorded modest growth at 2.99%, while Belgium and France faced declines of 3.29% and 3.94%, respectively. Notably, Luxembourg and Poland experienced significant jumps at 63.51% and 25.89%. Estonia also showed strong growth at 11.84%.
