The compound annual growth rate (CAGR) reveals a decreasing trend over time, from 8.44% in 2018 to 3.87% in 2023.
Looking forward from 2024 to 2028, the wastewater generation is forecasted to grow at a much slower pace, with an estimated 5-year CAGR of 0.82% and an overall growth rate of 4.15% over this period. This indicates that while the industrial sector will still contribute increasing amounts of wastewater, the rate of this increase is expected to decelerate sharply.
