Notably, the period from 2016 to 2018 exhibited strong growth, with the value reaching 1137.2 million kilograms by the end of 2018. However, there were declines in 2019 and 2020, attributed to various external factors, including potential economic downturns and market dynamics. The production rebounded significantly in 2021, reaching 1175.4 million kilograms, and continued to grow modestly through 2023.
Analyzing the year-on-year variations, the most substantial growths were recorded in 2016 (11.79%) and 2021 (24.34%). The production figures from 2023 indicate a yearly growth rate of 2.9%. The Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) over the last five years up to 2023 stands at 1.85%, signaling moderate growth. A forecasted CAGR of 2.16% between 2024 and 2028 predicts that the production will reach 1429.4 million kilograms by 2028, representing overall growth of 11.26% over the period.
