Global Hydraulic Cement Production by Country

In 2023, China remained the dominant player in global hydraulic cement production, producing 2.4498 billion metric tons, representing a 2.1% year-on-year increase. India followed with 0.36942 billion metric tons, showing a strong 4.39% growth. Vietnam and Indonesia also demonstrated robust growth rates of 4.44% and 1.17%, respectively. On the contrary, Egypt experienced a notable decline of 5.82%. The United States showed marginal growth at 0.62%, while South Korea and Japan witnessed decreases of 1.74% and 1.48%, respectively. Myanmar had the highest year-on-year increase at 7.74%, followed by Uzbekistan at 5.55% and Ethiopia at 4.73%. Cambodia and Uganda also experienced substantial growth rates at 12.87% and 12.55%, respectively.
