Looking forward, forecast data from 2024 to 2028 suggest that the neonatal mortality rate will remain stable at 1.5 deaths per thousand live births. Future trends to watch for include advancements in neonatal healthcare technology, increased awareness and healthcare policies, and potential impact from socio-economic changes which might affect both mortality rates and the accuracy of current forecasts.
