Over the last two years, the consumption varied, with an increase in 2022 by 59.86% followed by the mentioned decline in 2023. The compound annual growth rate (CAGR) from 2018 to 2023 displayed an average annual reduction of 1.51%.
Forecasts from 2024 to 2028 predict a steady upward of 16.21%, with an average annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.05%. By 2028, the consumption is expected to reach 198.62 thousand metric tons.
