The production volumes of sports activities, amusement, and recreation activities in Poland have seen varied trends over the past decade, with notable fluctuations. In 2013, there was a decline of 8.38%, followed by a smaller drop of 4.6% in 2014. Small growth was observed in 2015, but it was in 2016 that the industry experienced a significant boost with an 18.34% increase. This growth continued into 2017 at 13.9% and 2018 at 15.79%. A slight decline occurred in 2019, followed by a sharp decrease in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the sector rebounded in 2021 with an impressive 132.42% increase and continued to grow in the following years up to 2023, where values reached 15.82 billion Zloty, marking an increase of 2.97% from 2022.
Looking at the forecasted data from 2024 onwards, the production volumes are expected to steadily increase, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.24% over the next five years, leading to a projected value of 18.12 billion Zloty by 2028.
