European Shipping Volume of Loaded International Container Transport Performed by Not Self-Propelled Barges by Country

The Netherlands dominates the European shipping volume using not self-propelled barges, with 37.7 million metric tons, far ahead of other countries. Romania and Belgium are significant players, each exceeding 1 million metric tons. Over the last year, growth was observed in Romania (6.72%), Bulgaria (7.77%), and Austria (10.04%), while Poland faced a significant decline (-35.56%). Hungary and France also showed positive trends with growth rates of 4.18% and 8.86%, respectively. However, Belgium and Germany had decreases of -5.04% and -4.55%.
