This year, Chinese coffee bean production is set to reach 128,620 metric tons. By 2026, that figure is expected to grow to almost 148,000 metric tons – a 2.3% yearly increase on average. Since 1966, China has been a major global producer of coffee beans, with a 2.1% year-on-year growth rate. In 2021, China produced an estimated 3.2 million metric tons of coffee beans, placing it as the world's top producer. Vietnam, Colombia and Indonesia ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
