China's exports of polyurethane are forecast to reach 284 million kilograms by 2026, an increase of 3.4% year-on-year. This follows a 6.3% year-on-year growth since 1997. In 2021, Germany was the top exporter, with 228 million kilograms, followed by China, Italy and the United States. Meanwhile, Chinese imports of polyurethane are projected to reach 185 million kilograms by 2026, a rise of 1.6% year-on-year. This follows a 5.4% year-on-year growth since 1997. India, Germany and Iran were the top three importers in 2021.
