Indian demand for glass fibre is set to rise 3% a year over the next five years, with imports totalling 22,722,000 kilograms by 2026. Since 1993, India's annual demand has grown by 4.6%. Indian glass fibre exports, however, have decreased by 16.3% in 2021 compared to 2020, totalling 1,945,800 kilograms. This puts the country at number 30 in the world rankings, behind Poland, Belgium, Germany and Saudi Arabia.
