Egyptian insecticide exports are set to drop dramatically over the next five years. In 2021, the country exported 89,720 Kilograms of insecticides, a 26% decrease from the previous year. This is a continuation of the 11.5% year-on-year drop since 1999. In the 2021 rankings, Egypt came in at 53rd place, well behind Chile in first with 464,620 Kilograms. India, the United States and Indonesia took second, third, and fourth place respectively. Egyptian demand for insecticides has also been on the decline since 1999, shrinking by 0.4% year on year.
