The insecticide market in Sri Lanka is set to experience a decrease of 4.4% from 2021 to 2026. In 2021, Sri Lankan Insecticide Imports were 1,607,500 Kilograms, and this figure is expected to drop to just over 1.2 million Kilograms by 2026. Since 1999, Sri Lankan demand for insecticides has diminished by 7.1% year on year. Exports of insecticides from Sri Lanka have declined significantly over the years. In 2016, the figure was 9,760 Kilograms, and by 2017 this had dropped by 31.8% to 6,660 Kilograms. Over the years since 1999, Sri Lankan supply of insecticides has fallen by 34.8%.
