Demand for insecticides in Kuwait is set to fall sharply over the next five years. In 2021, imports of the product will total 130,300 kilograms, down from 159,190 kilograms in 2017. This represents a 38.4% drop on average each year between 2021 and 2026. Since 2005, imports have fallen by an average of 10.7% per year. Meanwhile, exports of insecticides have plunged to 15,530 kilograms in 2018, from 169,460 kilograms in 2017, a decrease of 90.8%. Over the same period, exports have decreased by an average of 50% each year.
