Malagasy milk production is expected to remain steady over the next few years, according to a new report. In 2021, Madagascar produced around 535,000 metric tons of milk. This is slightly down from the previous year, when it produced 535,000 metric tons. The country currently ranks 89th in the world, with Guatemala overtaking it at 534,960 metric tons. The United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan and Brazil are ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the world respectively. On average, Malagasy milk production is projected to decline by 0.1% year-on-year until 2026. Since 1966, it has seen a 0.3% year-on-year decline.
