Benin is set to increase its milk production over the next five years. In 2021, the country reached 150,630 metric tons of production, and it is estimated to reach 160,480 metric tons by 2026. This growth rate of 1.1% per year has been relatively consistent since 1966. At the same time, Benin was ranked 129th in milk production in 2021. This was a slight decrease from the previous year, when Sierra Leone overtook it with 150,630 metric tons of milk production. The United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan, and Brazil ranked second, third, and fourth respectively in milk production.
