In 2021, their output hit 9,660 metric tons — good enough for 153rd in the world — and is expected to grow at a rate of 0.7% a year, reaching 10,080 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, their supply has risen by an average of 1.1% annually. Gabon is the only African country to rank above Liberia, producing 9,660 metric tons. The United States Virgin Islands, Pakistan and Brazil were the top three producing countries in 2021.
