Russia's milk production is set to drop slightly over the next five years, according to figures from 2021. In 2021, the country was the sixth-highest producer of milk, with 30.8 million metric tons. This was just behind Germany, which produced 30.8 million metric tons. The US Virgin Islands, Pakistan and Brazil were the top three producers, respectively. Since 1997, Russia's milk production has grown by an average of 0.7% each year. However, by 2026, it is projected to drop to 30.4 million metric tons, a decrease of 0.2% each year on average.
