Since 1999, the country's exports have seen an average annual growth of 7.1%. In 2021, Slovenia occupied the 39th spot in the global ranking of synthetic rubber exporters, with the Philippines taking the lead at $5.6 million. Thailand, the United States and Japan respectively grabbed the second, third and fourth positions.
