Kenyan imports of DC Motors dropped 24.1% in 2018, to $10.8 million. This was down from $14.3 million in 2017. Since 1997, Kenyan demand has risen 13% year on year. Meanwhile, exports of DC Motors dropped 90.7% in 2018, to $6,040 from $64,860 in 2017. This marks a 25.9% decline since 2003. As a result, Kenya dropped to 99th in the global ranking, overtaken by Malawi at $6,040. Germany, the United States and France were the next three top countries.
