In 2018, Botswana's import of DC motors experienced a significant decline, totaling approximately $197,000. This represents a 26.2% drop from 2017, when imports amounted to around $267,000. The downward trend has been persistent since 2005, with a year-on-year decrease of 31.9% in demand. On the export front, Botswana's shipments of DC motors also saw a downturn. Exports in 2018 were valued at nearly $18,000, down 29.6% from the previous year's figure of about $25,000. Over a longer period, from 2005 onwards, the supply of DC motors from Botswana decreased annually by 12.4%.
