Ghanaian imports of DC Motors soared 84.8% in 2018, to reach $1,024,500. This was up from the $554,420 recorded in 2017. Since 2001, Ghanaian demand for the motors has grown 10.6% annually. Meanwhile, exports of DC Motors from Ghana dropped 42.4% in 2018, to $4,340. This was down from the $7,540 recorded in 2017. Since 2016, Ghanaian supply of the motors has fallen by 53.4% year on year. In 2018, the country ranked 103rd in terms of exports, with Mozambique taking the lead at $4,340. Germany, the US and France were the second, third and fourth biggest exporters of DC Motors, respectively.
