Vietnamese crude oil production is on track to reach 13 million tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026. This is down by 1.2% annually since 2021, when it was 13.4 million tonnes of oil equivalent. Since 1993, the supply of oil in Vietnam has decreased by nearly 3% a year. It currently ranks 31st in the world, behind Argentina, which produced 13.4 million tonnes of oil equivalent in 2021. Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq were the top three producers that year.
