Moldavian crude oil production is set to drop 3.3% year-on-year, reaching 4.3 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026. This is a decrease from 5.1 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent in 2021, and down 3.1% since 2009. In 2021, Moldova ranked 82nd, overtaken by Bulgaria at 5.1 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent. Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq held the top three spots in the same ranking.
