Demand for Bruneian crude oil is on the rise, with 797 thousand metric tons being requested in January 2022, up 23.2% from 834 thousand metric tons in December 2021. This is a 118.5% increase since January 2007. Meanwhile, Bruneian crude oil production is projected to reach 2.96 million tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026, a 5.6% decrease from the 4.07 million tonnes of oil equivalent in 2021. Since 1976, this supply has reduced by 6% year on year.
