Oil production in Oman is set to reach 51 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026. This represents a 0.5% average year-on-year growth since 1976, when production was 0.7% lower than the year before. In 2021, Oman ranked 18th in global oil production with 48.6 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent. Norway led the ranking with the most production, followed by Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq.
