Albanian demand for crude oil is expected to rise to 10,000 metric tons in December 2021, a 66.7% increase from nine thousand metric tons in November 2021. This marks a 39.4% decrease from January 2018. Albanian crude oil production is projected to reach 1.09 million tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026, growing at an average of 0.8% year on year. Since 1976, the country's supply has fallen by 0.5% year on year. In 2021, Albania was ranked 58th in the world, ahead of Poland which was at 1.03 million tonnes of oil equivalent. The top three countries in the ranking were Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq.
