On the export front, Salvadoran lighting exports saw a significant drop in 2019, falling to nearly $162,000 from roughly $270,000 in 2018. This represents a sharp decline of 40.1% year-on-year. Over the longer term, since 1999, the country's lighting supply has decreased by an average of 33.2% annually.
