Italian lighting sales are poised to hit €3.88 billion by 2028, up from €3.7 billion in 2023, reflecting a modest annual growth rate of 0.8%. This market has been expanding at an average rate of 1.9% each year since 2013. Italy held the third position in the 2023 rankings, but the Netherlands surpassed it with sales reaching €3.7 billion. The top three positions were claimed by the Netherlands, Italy, and the Czech Republic respectively. On the export front, Italian lighting is forecasted to achieve nearly $935 million by 2028, rising from approximately $842 million in 2023. This translates to an average annual growth rate of 1.6%. Italian lighting exports have been on an upward trajectory since 1999, growing by 2.2% annually. Imports of Italian lighting are also set to increase, reaching around $605 million by 2028, up from about $517 million in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 2.5%. Since 1999, the demand for imported lighting in Italy has grown by 3.2% each year.
