In contrast, Nepal's lighting import market is on an upward trajectory. Projections indicate that imports will reach nearly $14.3 million by 2028, up from about $12 million in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 2.7%. Since 2014, the demand for imported lighting in Nepal has been increasing at an average rate of 4.2% per year.
