In terms of exports, India is expected to reach about 1.3 million units by 2028, growing from approximately 1.1 million units in 2023. This growth reflects a compound annual growth rate of 3.3%. From 1993 onwards, Indian headphone supply has seen a modest annual increase of 0.4%. India ranked eighth in headphone exports in 2023, with the Philippines surpassing it at the same export volume of approximately 1.1 million units. The top spots in this ranking were held by the United States, Malaysia, and Belarus, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
