Meanwhile, Italian stone import is set to increase by 1.5% on average each year, reaching almost $1.5 billion by 2026. Since 1999, demand for Italian stone has grown by 4.5% annually. The Netherlands overtook Italy in 2021, with $1.3 billion, while Germany, the UK and France were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
