Meanwhile, Hungarian stone imports are expected to reach $450 million by 2026, up from $404 million in 2021. This 1.8% average growth year on year follows a 4.8% year on year increase since 1997. In 2021, Hungary came in 29th in the global stone imports rankings, with Brazil beating it out with $404 million. Germany, the United Kingdom and France occupied the second, third and fourth place respectively.
