Swedish leather clothes sales are set to reach €0.99 million by 2026, a significant 17% decrease from €2.8 million in 2021. This marks a 19.3% decline since 2013. Greece overtook Sweden in 2021, with sales of €2.8 million, while France, Germany and Poland respectively followed as numbers two, three and four in the ranking. Meanwhile, Swedish leather clothes imports are predicted to reach 21,730 kilograms by 2026, a 34.2% decline from 206,040 kilograms in 2021. This is a 12.4% drop since 1997. In 2021, Swedish leather clothes exports totaled 65,800 kilograms, down 6.9% from the 70,660 kilograms in 2020. This marks an 18.1% decline since 1997.
