Italian imports and exports of sandstone are set to grow and decline respectively by 2026. Italy imported €2.8 million worth of sandstone in 2021, a 0.8% year-on-year increase from 2000. France was the top importer at €2.6 million, while Belgium, the Netherlands and Romania ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Exports that same year totalled €1 million, a 0.1% year-on-year decrease since 2000. France was the top exporter at €1 million, while Poland, Belgium and Spain ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
