Croatian sandstone imports are projected to dip 6.3% annually, reaching €13.7 billion by 2026. Since 2008, the demand has grown 0.2% per year on average. Croatia ranked 17th in 2021, with Slovakia ahead at €19.6 billion. Belgium, the Netherlands and Romania followed at numbers two, three and four, respectively. Croatian sandstone exports are expected to grow 5.7% each year, reaching €249 million by 2026. In 2021, Croatia was in twelfth place, with Denmark in the lead at €175 million. Poland, Belgium and Spain ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
