Estonian sandstone exports are on the rise, with an expected increase of 4.6% year on year up to 2026. Since 2012, the country's supply has grown by 66%. In 2021, it was ranked 20th, just behind Bulgaria at 509 million euros. Poland, Belgium, and Spain were the top three importers. On the other hand, imports of Estonian sandstone have significantly decreased in recent years. In 2019, it was down to 230 million euros, a decrease of 73.9% from 2018. Since 2006, demand has dropped by 12.6%. It was ranked 22nd, just behind Slovenia at 230 million euros. Belgium, the Netherlands, and Romania were the top three importers.
