Gambian leather goods imports fell by 49.2% in 2021, to a total of $4,290. This is a significant decline from the $8,440 reported in 2020, and a 24.9% drop since 2000. Kiribati overtook Gambia in 2021, becoming the 144th largest importer of leather goods with a total of $4,290. Germany, France and Italy came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
