This follows an increase from the $30 million reported in 2021. Since 1995, the country's demand for leather goods has grown 5.8% year on year. In 2021, India was ranked 29th in the world, with Finland leading the way at $30 million. Germany, France and Italy were ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
