Oman’s leather goods export is on the rise. The country is expected to reach $1.1 million by 2026, up from $845,200 in 2021. This represents an average year-on-year growth rate of 4.5%. Since 2003, Omani supply has seen a 142% increase. Meanwhile, Omani leather goods import is also set to grow. It is predicted to reach $3 million by 2026, up from $2.8 million in 2021. This works out to an average year-on-year growth rate of 1.4%. Since 1994, Omani demand has grown 5.2% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 79th in terms of leather goods import, just behind Bosnia and Herzegovina. Germany, France and Italy ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
